About Oddbox – Sustainable Operations and Engineering Careers
Oddbox is on a mission to fight food waste with innovative technology and purpose-driven action. Our fruit and veg subscription service has already rescued over 50 million kilograms of produce. As we grow, we are building more intelligent, reliable operations—powered by data and guided by our sustainable values. Join our collaborative, high-impact team to create even greater change in how food is sourced, delivered, and enjoyed.
Role Overview: Product Management in Operations Engineering
As the Product Manager for Operations Engineering, you will be instrumental in ensuring Oddbox’s business runs smoothly by defining and delivering the core technologies that enable our operations. You'll be working with the operational technology and systems essential for our packing locations and the broader supply chain, partnering closely with engineering, data, sourcing, supply chain, and operations teams to shape new solutions that boost productivity, reduce waste, and support the ultimate customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
🥦Lead the design and delivery of operations-focused products, ensuring scalable solutions that improve fulfilment, logistics, inventory management and resource planning.
🥦Translate business needs and data insights into clear product requirements for engineering teams working across our backend and supply chain platforms.
🥦Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues on process optimisation, automation, and integration projects to deliver better speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
🥦Champion the voice of operations users (warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams) to build intuitive, effective products and tooling.
🥦Leverage metrics and feedback to measure product impact, iterate on solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
🥝You have a thorough understanding of, and ideally practical experience in, a variety of disciplines: service design, API design, user research, user experience design, data, development and business principles. You understand how each contributes to the creation of successful products.
🥝You are accustomed to a user-driven approach to minimum viable product definition and delivery. You focus on quality, accuracy and high attention to detail.
🥝You have the ability to evaluate and solve problems creatively and laterally when needed, using appropriate evidence and data over instinct wherever possible to inform product decisions.
🥝You thrive in an environment where you can take initiative, working with high-level direction to execute independently with the team.
🥝You are able and willing to challenge the status quo, and to empower others that you work with to challenge their own assumptions.
🥝 You take ownership and accountability, delivering your domain roadmap, multiple tasks & small projects (both assigned & self-allocated).
🥝You're curious and have the ability to learn new skills quickly
You’ll excel in this role if:
👏You are comfortable creating clarity from ambiguity
👏You enjoy working in a scale up environment
👏You’ve worked on supply chain products within a physical product business

With food waste being a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, Oddbox is building a community that together can play its part in fighting food waste and tackling climate change. We're a proud B Corp and have delivered over eight million boxes since we launched in 2016.
